The BAHAB is composed of representatives from organizations dedicated to the preservation of affordable housing in Atlanta. BAHAB members represent residents, developers with experience in affordable housing, real estate finance, affordable housing construction, green building, architecture, mixed use developers and others.
BAHAB responsibilities are primarily:
- To make recommendations with respect to the goals and policies related to the use of the Beltline Affordable Housing Trust Fund (15% of TAD revenues over the 25-year life of the TAD;
- Monitoring the location and availability of affordable housing throughout the BeltLine; and
- Coordinating with other affordable housing activities throughout the City of Atlanta.

In September of 2008, the BeltLine Affordable Housing Advisory Board submitted their Trust Fund Recommendations to Atlanta BeltLine, Inc and the Atlanta Development Authority.
