The Atlanta BeltLine is one of the largest efforts underway to remediate environmentally contaminated properties in the urban core. The success of the 138-acre Atlantic Station project in Atlanta demonstrates the value and benefits of cleaning up and redeveloping contaminated properties within the City of Atlanta.
With an estimated 1,100 acres of brownfields within the 6,500 acre Atlanta BeltLine TAD, there is a tremendous opportunity at hand. Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. is currently working on determining how best to accomplish environmental remediation throughout the Tax Allocation District area.
