2012 Atlanta BeltLine Tours!

The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership offers a free, narrated bus tour of the Atlanta BeltLine on Friday and Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Climb aboard the tour bus and sit back to learn about the Atlanta BeltLine concept and history; to hear details and updates regarding project planning, implementation and development; and to witness first-hand the transformative effect the project will have on Atlanta BeltLine neighborhoods and the City of Atlanta. As thousands of Atlantans have experienced for themselves, there is simply no better way to learn about the Atlanta BeltLine than to take a tour!

Atlanta BeltLine tours depart from the Inman Park MARTA station, located at 1055 Dekalb Avenue, NE, Atlanta, GA 30307 (see directions or take MARTA to the station), promptly at 9:30 a.m. and return by 12:30 p.m. Reservations are requested.  Participants must check in at 9:15 a.m.

The Atlanta BeltLine tour includes a brief rest stop in West End and provides the only public access to Bellwood Quarry, the future site of Westside Reservoir and Park. Be among the first to view this incredible site as it transitions from active quarry to city reservoir and park!

To better serve you, changes have been made to the reservation process in 2012. Reservations will be opened on the 15th of each month for the upcoming month.

Groups

The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership welcomes small group participation on our Friday and Saturday tours and can accommodate up to 15 participants in a group on regularly scheduled tour dates.

If you have a larger group, please contact Emily Libman directly at Tours@AtlBeltLinePartnership.org or 404-446-4400 to discuss details. Please provide information about your organization, how many participants are in your group, and when you hope to conduct your tour. The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership is able to provide free tours for groups on a very limited basis. If we are unable to offer you a free tour, your group can still choose to pay for the cost of the tour should we have a guide available for your timeframe.

QUESTION: All of the scheduled tours are full. Can you let me know if someone cancels?
We realize our tours fill up fast. However, we do receive cancellations.  While we are not able to keep a waiting list, we will release these seats as soon as they are available. So, please check back here for available seats. We also post notifications of available seats on our Facebook page.
You are also welcome to arrive early on the morning of a tour and try to walk on. If there are people who made a reservation who do not arrive by 9:15 a.m., we will give these seats away on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you are still not able to get a seat, we encourage you to check back on the 15th of each month to make a reservation for the following month.
